What is your fondest memory from your time at MUWCI?
Knowing that I will have many more. One of my fondest memories so far, was after Ganesh Chaturthi. Coming back from the procession with the students, I just felt this incredible warmth. Getting that little taste of India felt so human and real. I couldn’t help but think,” I’m the luckiest person in the world”. I get to live these amazing experiences with students because I’m part of the UWC movement, and this time as a teacher, something I’m so dedicated to. Being able to share these moments with them fills me with joy, and it reminds me why I love what I do every single day.
What do you love about teaching at MUWCI?
What I love most about teaching at MUWCI is how deeply engaging it is, both in and out of the classroom. Teaching here is not just about imparting knowledge in arts or Spanish; it’s an immersive experience where daily routines become opportunities for growth and connection. I feel lucky to live on this beautiful campus, nestled atop a hill and surrounded by nature, with hiking trails just minutes away and inspiring people within a short walk. The students here are exceptional, kind, curious, and unafraid to question the world around them. I appreciate the diversity that goes beyond nationality, allowing me to learn from our global perspectives in college meetings, global affairs discussions, and even in activities like dance.
