Outreach programmes
UWC Mahindra College offers a number of short course each year which combine focused activity and learning within an engaging UWC experience. Each of these programmes provides an opportunity to enjoy the splendour of our remarkable location with challenging and inspiring programmes of discovery, reflection and practical engagement. UWC faculty and students are involved in running many of these programmes and this creates an enthralling microcosm of the wider UWC experience.
Our Outreach Programmes include courses covering a wide range of interests and issues - from culture, the environment and sustainability to global affairs, leadership and community engagement. The emphasis is on meaningful activity around purposeful change - and the impact has been exciting! Previous participants have described the challenging and transformative educational experience as a powerful and defining one, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.

Limited scholarships are available for students with financial needs on all Outreach Programmes. To apply for a scholarship students need to complete the scholarship application and submit it along with their application form for the relevant programme(s) and parents' income statement for the current / last financial year. Once we receive the completed application a panel of faculty will review it and if necessary have a conversation with the student via Skype or telephone, after which the scholarship amount will be decided. The maximum scholarship a student can receive is a full fee waiver. We do not cover airfare, visa fees etc.

Although here in India we are still legally known as The Mahindra United World College of India, we call ourselves UWC Mahindra College to align the college with the UWC international movement. Both these names appear on our letterhead but only UWC Mahindra College is visible on most of our external communications including our website. For payment purposes, however, cheques should be made out to The Mahindra United World College of India.
